Safety Guidelines

These Safety Guidelines explain the rules and safeguards that apply when using Relya. They are intended to help protect users, maintain platform integrity, and prevent harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful use of the Service.

These Guidelines supplement our Terms of Service. If there is any conflict between these Guidelines and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will govern.

1. Adults Only

Relya is intended exclusively for adults. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to create an account or use the Service.

If we discover or reasonably believe that an account is being used by a person under 18, we may suspend or permanently terminate that account.

2. Acceptable Use

Relya is provided for personal, lawful, and non-commercial use. You may use the Service only in accordance with our Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Relya to:

  • Impersonating another person
  • Submitting false or fraudulent information
  • Interfering with the operation of the Service
  • Uploading malicious software or harmful code
  • Disrupting other users' experience
  • Exploiting bugs or security vulnerabilities
  • Misusing AI-generated content in violation of applicable law

4. Illegal Activities

You may not use Relya to engage in, facilitate, encourage, or promote illegal activities, including:

  • Fraud
  • Identity theft
  • Harassment
  • Threats
  • Child exploitation
  • Terrorism
  • Money laundering
  • Distribution of illegal content
  • Intellectual property infringement
  • Any other activity prohibited under applicable law

5. Harassment and Abuse

You may not use the Service to threaten, harass, intimidate, abuse, or otherwise harm other users, Relya staff, or third parties.

Attempts to use AI companions to facilitate targeted harassment, abuse, or unlawful conduct are prohibited.

6. Restricted Content

Relya may restrict, refuse, or moderate content involving sensitive or harmful topics, including:

  • Illegal activities
  • Child exploitation
  • Terrorism or violent extremism
  • Self-harm or suicide encouragement
  • Non-consensual sexual content
  • Exploitation or abuse
  • Malicious cyber activity
  • Impersonation of identifiable individuals
  • Other content prohibited by our policies or applicable law

These restrictions may change over time as our safety systems evolve.

7. AI Safety Systems

Relya uses automated safety systems designed to help reduce harmful, abusive, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate uses of the Service.

These systems may include automated detection, moderation, usage limitations, content filtering, account restrictions, and other safeguards.

No safety system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee that all harmful content or misuse will be detected or prevented.

8. Crisis and Self-Harm Safety

Relya is not a substitute for medical care, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, emergency services, or professional advice.

If you believe that you or someone else may be experiencing a medical emergency, mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or an immediate risk of harm, discontinue use of the Service and contact your local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional immediately.

AI companions are not capable of providing emergency assistance or crisis intervention.

Relya's safety protocols are designed to prevent the Service from producing content that encourages suicide or self-harm.

9. Platform Moderation

We may review, filter, restrict, remove, or block content generated through the Service where reasonably necessary to:

  • Enforce our Terms and policies
  • Protect users
  • Comply with applicable law
  • Investigate abuse
  • Maintain platform integrity
  • Improve our safety systems

Moderation may be performed using automated systems, human review, or a combination of both.

10. Attempts to Bypass Safeguards

You may not attempt to:

  • Bypass safety systems or moderation mechanisms
  • Circumvent subscription restrictions
  • Evade account limitations or suspensions
  • Manipulate AI safeguards
  • Extract hidden prompts or internal instructions
  • Interfere with security features designed to protect the Service

11. Enforcement

Violations of these Safety Guidelines or our Terms of Service may result in content restrictions, account limitations, suspension, or termination.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when we reasonably believe that an account is involved in fraud or abuse, poses a security risk, is being used unlawfully, violates our policies, or could expose Relya, its users, or third parties to harm or liability.

We may also take action where necessary to protect the integrity, security, or operation of the Service or when required by law or governmental authority.
